Synesthesia
Synesthesia is a video collage of a non-linear format created by seamlessly compiling 10-second animations and lens-based clips contributed by my peers. Through meticulous exploration and editing, I transformed the original footage into a sound visualization piece, taking advantage of the creative freedom provided by the prompt. Every element underwent changes and enhancements, resulting in a unique perspective. Infused with a subtle narrative, the artwork delves into the concept of reliving a romantically idealized memory. Yet, the interpretation of 'Synesthesia' remains entirely open to the viewer's imagination. The immersive experience of this piece hinges on sound, as I experimented in blending audio with discovered sounds to complement the visuals.
