Born

The birth of "Born" was a result of a study of neon and its various components. The short film is an initial outcome of my exploration of neon and its various elements, the first of three projects. As the study progressed, it took on a different direction. I had the initiation of this research aimed to comprehend the complexities of neon, subsequently applying abstract interpretations that reflect the concept of its “birth”– with the focus shifting towards exploring the relationship between nature and technology. The inspection of neon became intertwined with juxtaposing nature and technology– allowing for a deeper understanding of both neon and the relationship between the two realms. The narrative between animation and print varies.
